Seven-Minute White Frosting
Seven-Minute White Frosting
A very fluffy delicious frosting that never fails.
You will need:
- 2 unbeaten egg whites
- 1 ½ cups (310 grams) fine sugar
- 5 tablespoons cold water
- ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions:
- Place in the top of a double boiler and beat until thoroughly blended:
- Place these ingredients over rapidly boiling water. Beat them constantly with a rotary beater for 7 minutes. Remove icing from heat.
- Add: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Continue beating until the icing is the right consistency to be spread. Use immediately.
